World MasterCard Fashion Week F/W 15/16 Menswear Roundup
Last week in Toronto the World MasterCard Fashion Week tents were filled with Canada’s most fashionable. Over 25 brands showcased their Fall/Winter 15/16 collections on the runway proving that Canada’s fashion industry is strong and diverse. Here on STM we have sorted through the runway looks and selected our favourites.
Rudsak won the bomber length jacket game this season with these designs in brown and tan leather. View the entire runway gallery here.
Jaan Choxi, from Creative Director Sajan Choksi nailed the sexy suit in seductive maroon, shimmering midnight blue and sophisticated grey. Check out their online store launching Summer 2015. View the entire runway gallery here.
SOIA & KYO
Soia & Kyo, launched in 2004, aims to create jackets with a perfect fit. Seeing how as Canadians we spend a minimum of 5 months a year bundled up, we are ready to take all three of these jackets in order to stay stylish in the cold months. Our must have pick is the three quarter length grey coat with black trimmed collar. View the entire runway gallery here.
3.Paradis is the brain child of two friends who explain they are not designers, but rather artists. Emeric Tchatchoua and Raymond Cheung founded the brand in 2012 and have caught the attention of the fashion crowd. We are eyeing the boxy three quarter jacket in black ready to be paired with just about anything for fall. View the entire runway gallery here.
Farley Chatto’s collection this season was fit for Russian royalty. The designer was inspired by the last monarch of Russia and using Origin Assured furs created powerful luxurious pieces to be worn for years. View the entire runway gallery here.
Klaxon Howl’s designer Matt Robinson is inspired by his collection of vintage militaria, workwear and sportswear. Each piece is hand crafted locally using quality fabrics. Visit the Klaxon Howl coach house in Toronto to shop and experience the brand at its best. View the entire runway gallery here.
Mackage showcased luxury parkas and bombers in black and jewel tones for all. While the winter coat industry is competitive, Mackage yet again this year brought their sexy distinct look to Canada’s favourite item, the winter coat. View the entire runway gallery here.
